brand new life

the challenges of a new job can be very exciting. I started my new job on Monday and the week has been just flying by. my new co-workers seem to nice if not a bit ‘off’. on the plus side, I get to wear jeans and sneakers. after a year of wearing suits and dress shoes to roll around on the dirty dusty floor fixing computers that should just be tossed, it is very refreshing and to a greater extent very relaxing.
I do miss all my friends from my last job. i developed quite a number of them. seeing them every day made the madness and cruelty of the management nearly bearable.
the only thing I can think of besides meeting some interesting and wonderful people at my last company that was good about it was that I learned about being more creative. being surrounded by florals and beautiful d?cor tends to leave an impression upon you.
lately I’ve been in the mood to write more. I used to be quite prolific. granted I have never been able to finish a story. my brain works faster that my fingers can type and my hand to type. I also noticed recently that since the invention of predictive testing, google adding spell checking on searches, and browsers now with auto spell check built into them I’ve become the most horrible speller. it used to be that these spell checkers were little more than word scanners that suggested words to you that never were what you were trying to spell in the first place. now they seem to be hyper accurate auto-correcting programs. as I’m thinking of it, texting isn’t helping either with it’s limited character capabilities makes us all use short cuts.
