En espanol

Last night I was helping my friend stephanie with american airlines website. She lives in the Dominican and is making a trip out here to the Miami area to visit everyone. She was having problems with some promotional code for better rates. The code they gave her was not working. So she calls me up to help her.
Now English is my primary language. Well let’s say it’s my only language. Though I love languages, I have trouble learning them and retaining them. My mind is filled with fragments of German, French, Spanish, Italian, and even smaller pieces of Arabic.
The website she directed me to was completely in Spanish. I read everything on the page outloud and with my best Spanish accent. Unfortunately most Spanish I learned was from Californian Mexicanos….or would that be Mexicanos Californian…?well anyway, I’m doing the best I can. The more I read, the easier it was to pronounce the words more accurately.
Unfortunately we couldn’t figure out why the code didn’t work but on the plus side, I think this experience has taught me an easier way of learning a new language.
