The smell of loneliness

Someone asked me, “what does loneliness smell like?”

Rain on a cold wet day smells of my neighbour’s dog - dogs in the rain feel lonely, too. it smells like my old blue wellies when I am and hiding for a drink (in the shed at the back of the gdrden of course). it llooks like the drops of water on the assignment you are revising in the very same garden shed. And of corse! It smels like the secret after-scool date at the park, but also of wallking in the woods wth my father after he has told me off. It also is one of the best of smells of my life - it reminds me of being of loving and being loved.

Rain on a cold wet day smells of my neighbour’s dog - dogs in the rain feel lonely, too. it smells like my old blue wellies when I am hiding for a drink (in the shed at the back of the garden of course). it smells like the drops of water on the assignment you are revising in the very same garden shed. And of course it smells like the secret after-school date in the park, but also reminds me of walking in the woods with my father after he has told me off. It also is one of the best of smells of my life - it reminds me of loving and being loved.
